Federal Polytechnic Idah Announces Emergency Break

Due to the ongoing renovation in the school hostels and polytechnic campuses, the management of the Federal polytechnic Idah, Kogi state, has announced a mid semester break for all students of the institution.
This mid semester break which came as an emergency to the students according to the management is with the intent of not disrupting academic activities.
The mid semester break will commence from Monday 10th July to to Sunday 23rd July 2023. All students are to resume on Monday 24th July 2023 as contained in a memo dated 7th July 2023.
“As you are aware, renovation work has commenced in student hostels with the intent of not disrupting academic activities.”
“On the commencement of the renovation however, some unforeseen challenges emerged which would delay the completion of the project within the stipulated period.”
” In view of the above, the Rector, on behalf of the Academic Board, approved a Mid- Semester Break of two weeks with effect from Monday 10th July, 2023.”
“All students residing in the hostels are requested to vacate all halls of residence NOT LATER THAN 12:00 MIDDAY OF MONDAY, 10TH JULY, 2023 and ensure they remove all their personal belongings.”
‘Lectures shall however resume on Monday 24th July, 2023. All-inconveniences this- decision will cause our highly esteemed students are highly regretted, please.”
