The Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti has officially opened its doors for applications into its Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session. The institution invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for its Morning (Full-Time), Evening, and Part-Time programmes spanning five semesters.

With an impressive spread across five schools — Agriculture & Agricultural Technology, Business Studies, Engineering, Environmental Studies, and Science & Computer Studies — the Polytechnic offers a rich array of options to help students build solid careers in diverse fields.

Courses on offer include:

  • School of Agriculture & Agricultural Technology: Animal Production, Crop Production, Agricultural Technology.
  • School of Business Studies: Accountancy, Banking & Finance, Business Administration & Management, Marketing, Office Technology & Management, Procurement & Supply Chain.
  • School of Engineering: Agricultural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Minerals & Petroleum Resources Engineering — with specialisations like Power & Machines, Telecommunications, Mining, Geological Engineering, and more.
  • School of Environmental Studies: Architectural Technology, Building Technology, Surveying, Urban & Regional Planning, Estate Management & Valuation.
  • School of Science & Computer Studies: Computer Science, Statistics, Science Laboratory Technology (with options like Applied Chemistry, Microbiology, Physics with Electronics), Glass & Ceramic Technology.

Who Can Apply?
Applicants must possess a National Diploma (ND) in a related field with at least a Lower Credit and five O’Level credits, including English and Mathematics. Applicants with Pass grades must show evidence of at least nine months of relevant industrial training or work experience.

Holders of NABTEB Technical Certificates may also be considered for certain schools. Applicants must have their ND Result and Industrial Training Letters ready for upload.

Important Note:
All applicants — Morning, Evening, and Part-Time — must sit for a Computer-Based Test (CBT) which will assess English, General Paper, and Discipline-Specific subjects.

How to Apply:

  1. Visit the Polytechnic’s website: www.fedpolyado.edu.ng or www.students.fedpolyado.edu.ng.
  2. Generate an invoice and pay the non-refundable application fee of ₦15,500.
  3. Fill out the application form online and upload all required documents.
  4. Print the acknowledgement slip and CBT examination slip.
  5. Submit completed online applications by 31st August 2025.

Applicants are reminded that the Polytechnic will not process applications for those whose transcripts are not received on time.
