Management Appreciates Union Bank For Handing Over Facility For Take-Off

The Management led by Engr. Dr. Kadiri Kamoru Oluwatoyin FNSE has completed moves to kick-start the Federal Polytechnic Offa Microfinance Bank.

This was disclosed after the Union Bank Management led by the Offa Branch Manager, Mr. Olufemi Toyinbo handed over its facility, a portal cabin structure at the Polytechnic Mini Campus to the Management for takeoff of Polytechnic’s Microfinance Bank.

In his reaction, the Rector, Engr. Speaking further, the Rector added that the Polytechnic’s Microfinance Bank aims at providing Microfinance Banking services for staff, students and the neighboring communities will reach about 10,000 Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) within the Polytechnic community and beyond and equally boost the Polytechnic’s revenue generation.

While assuring the Union Bank management of judicious utilization of the facility, Dr. Kadiri appreciated the bank for graciously donating the facility to the Polytechnic.

According to him, “On behalf of the entire Management, Staff, and students of the Institution, I express our heartfelt and profound appreciation to the Union Bank Nig. Plc. on its generous donation of a Portal Cabin structure to the Polytechnic.
This is a great honour to me barely one year after assuming office; I’m greatly touched by this massive CSR project of the Union Bank and I assure you that the Polytechnic will continue to maintain its harmonious relationship with the Bank.”

Earlier, the Union Bank Offa Branch Manager, Mr. Toyinbo expressed gratitude to the Rector and the Polytechnic Community for continued loyalty to the bank. He said the donation of its Mini Campus office is in line with the bank’s CSR policy to give back to the communities where it operates, adding that it will help the Polytechnic Management to expand its footprint when banking operations commence.”
