Post UTME is not like JAMB where you can correct mistakes after registration. Be careful during registration so you won’t be disqualified at the point of clearance. Though the CICT can rectify it, it might affect your admission chances. Avoid data errors like name discrepancies and submitting incorrect or invalid O’Level results.

2. Use the Same Name as in Your Birth Certificate, WAEC, and JAMB

I have seen cases where an aspirant used “Olaniyi Adeola Gloria” for WAEC and later used “Olaniyi Adeola Bukola” in JAMB. This will create a big problem—either during Post UTME registration or after you’ve been admitted. Ensure your name arrangement matches your birth certificate, NIN, O’Level result, and other vital documents. Last year, several applicants were disqualified because of this. Don’t make the same mistake.

3. Input Your Correct O’Level Result

This point ties in with number one. Whether done intentionally or by mistake, submitting false or incorrect O’Level results is a big offence. Don’t apply to FPA with fake results. You will get caught and your admission will be terminated. Do the right thing.

4. Online Payment During Post UTME Registration

This can be a big problem for some aspirants. You’ll be required to pay a fee for registration. I advise you to do this in a reliable cyber café. Don’t take the risk of paying online with your smartphone.
