EDO POLY: Management Dissolves SUG, Handpick Caretaker Committee

The management of Edo State Polytechnic, Usen has dissolved the 2023/2024 Student Union Government and handpicked caretaker committee ahead the school sixth convocation ceremony.

In a circular which emantes from the office of the dean of students earlier today, 17th October, 2024, the account stated that the Student Union Government under the administration of Comr. Ogunbor Emmanuel has been dissolved in accordance to section V of Article XII of the Union constitution.

The circular further stated that caretaker committee has been setup to run the affair of the Union body inorder to work closely with the student electoral commission when consistuted to ensure a smooth and credible 2024/2025 Students’ Union Government Election.

The caretaker committee is being chairmaned by an aspirant for the Student Union Government president, Comr. Ogbeiwi Nathan Osagie from the department of Business Administration (HND2). Other members of the committee are; Joseph Mariam Etuo, ND2 Computer Sceince (Secretary), Ogberamwen Osagunwenro, ND2 Science Laboratory Technology, Igbineweka Osarunwense Precious, HND2 Elect/elect ( Member), Nosakhare Dennis Eguabor HND2 Public Administration (Member).

The Circular further compel the dissolved executives to handover the Unions belongings to Student Affairs within the 48 hours of the issuing of the circular.
