EDE POLY: Why We Can't Protest Now - NAPS

The National Association of polytechnic students (NAPS),  has said that they are not part of the planned protest at the Federal polytechnic Ede as been spread in some speculated areas. The association acknowledged that   they are  already engaging the school management to reduce registration fees for 2021/2022 academic session and victory is around corner.

The association Deputy Senate president, Comrade Adeniji Boluwaji advise the polytechnic students not to join any protest as they are already working behind closed doors to see that management reduce the registration fees.

He further reminded the Students not to pay school fee at the moment until further notice from the association.

He said,

“Regards some news of Protest in the Name of National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) against the increment of the School Fee of the Newly Admitted Students of Federal Polytechnic Ede, we write to Inform the Entire Students of Federal Polytechnic Ede Osun State that we are not planning any protest and NAPS Leadership will not be part of any  protest by some set of people that are agent of Crisis because the Leadership of NAPS has been in negotiation with Management team of  Federal Polytechnic Ede Osun State in which the School fee increment will be reduce soon, there is Positive response from the Management and gradually Success will be achieve.

“We hereby  inform the students of Federal Polytechnic Ede Osun State not to join any protest call by unknown set of people because of the School fee increment.

“The Leadership of National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) still want the newly admitted students to hold  on the  with payment of the school fee till further notice”

Men of the Nigeria Police Force on Wednesday, stormed the gate of the Federal Polytechnic, Ede, Osun State, over a planned protest by the students of the institution against a recent fee hike.
