Delta Poly Management Bows to Pressure, Slashes School Fees by 50%

The management of Delta State polytechnic Otefe Oghara has bowed to pressure as it agrees to reduce the service charge for school fees for the 2022/2023 academic session by 50 percent.
This follows the Intervention of the Student union, National Association of polytechnic Students (NAPS) and NANS.
After the meeting held on Thursday 3rd November, 2022 the school management promised to reduced the services from #30,000 to #15,000.
The SUG President, Comrade Lucky confirmed this to POLYTV in a press statement.
“After Extensive deliberation between the Management of the Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe Oghara and the SUG, NADESSTU, NAPS and NANS, an agreement was reached and the increment on services was slashed from N30,000 to N15,000 (50%) across board…
” A new breakdown of the service charge schedule will be released in due time. We hereby urge every student to pay their service charges in due time and remain peaceful.”
