The Presidential Implementation Committee on Technology Transfer (PICTT) and the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) have launched the Delta-2 Second Call for Research and Development (R&D) Proposals to strengthen innovation and drive economic growth. What Type of Projects Are Eligible?
All proposals submitted under this call must demonstrate:

Who Can Apply?
- Nigerian-based R&D institutions, universities, polytechnics, and technology companies.
- Technology companies may apply independently.
- Research institutions must partner with a Nigerian-registered company.
- All applicants must be legally registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
- Linked or partner enterprises are not eligible.
Applicants with bankruptcy history, tax non-compliance, or weak financial records risk disqualification.
Funding and Support Available
- Up to 20 projects will be funded under this program.
- The government will cover 60% to 70% of project costs, while participants provide matching funds.
- Eligible expenses include: equipment and research materials, personnel costs, consulting services, intellectual property protection, and travel expenses.
- Project duration: up to 36 months.

- Eligibility & Screening: October 20 – December 10, 2025
- Final Results Announcement: December 11, 2025
- Award Ceremony & Agreement Signing: January 12, 2026
