Breaking: Rufus Giwa Polytechnic to Begin Lectures Immediately for 2024/2025 Session Amidst Local Curfew

In a recent announcement from the Directorate of Academic Affairs, Rufus Giwa Polytechnic in Owo has confirmed the immediate commencement of lectures for students in the 2024/2025 academic session. The decision, which aligns with the approved academic calendar, was made following a management meeting held on January 22, 2025.
However, due to ongoing curfew restrictions in Owo and surrounding areas, all lectures will end by 4:00 PM daily until further notice. This new timetable ensures compliance with government regulations while maintaining academic continuity for students.
The polytechnic management urges all faculty, staff, and students to adhere to the new guidelines.
