The school Authority of Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic (ATAPOLY) Bauchi has released guidelines and procedures for payment of damages fee.

The school management had last week announced that each student will pay a sum of one thousand naira (#1,000) and seventy naira (#70) charges as fine for destroying school properties during a violent protest that took place in the institution last month.

The students were protesting against a two weeks warning strike by ASUP when hoodlums hijacked the protest and vandalized the school properties.

The school authority has however announced 8th August as the resumption date for the continuation of academic activities and guidelines below are to be followed for the payment of damages fee.

1. All students are to pay a levy of one thousand naira (N1,000) only on their return to the institution on Monday 8th August 2022.

2. Students are to make the payment online using the link levy.atapolyconsult.com

3. Students are to access the link and login to their respective departments using their registration number as username and the word “password” as login password.

4. Access the link PayNow and make your payment using either ATM CARD, USSD, ONLINE BANKING or PAYATITUDE platform.

5. Students are to note that a seventy-five naira (N75:00) service charge and one hundred and twenty five naira (N 125) as internet café charges will be applied.

6. Students are to print evidence of payment and “an undertaking form” from the portal. The evidence of payment will be presented to school accountants for receipt while the undertaking form” is to be filled and submitted to Department for clearance.
