About the GFPS Semester Scholarship
The GFPS-Polska Semester Scholarship is designed for Polish students, doctoral candidates, and academic assistants across all fields of study. It promotes academic growth and personal development by combining funding with a structured cultural exchange program. Recipients not only gain access to top-tier education but also participate in activities that foster cross-cultural understanding.
Scholarship Benefits
Successful applicants will receive a €650 monthly stipend to help with living expenses during their stay in Germany. Additional benefits include:
- Accommodation assistance to secure housing in student dormitories or private apartments
- Participation in two exclusive seminars:
- CITY DAYS – an introductory seminar to welcome and integrate scholarship holders
- FORUM – a closing seminar where students present their projects and share insights with fellow participants

Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the Summer Semester 2026 intake, applicants must:
- Demonstrate German language proficiency at a minimum of B1 level
- Actively participate in academic, cultural, and social events throughout the semester
- Complete a research project on a topic of their choice, which may align with their field of study or reflect personal interests. Passion and creativity are encouraged, even if the project is not directly related to their degree.
