Akwapoly Lecturers Protest against Non-payment of Harmonization Allowance.

The Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) Akwa Ibom state polytechnic chapter embarked on a peaceful protest for the payment of their Harmonization Allowance.

According to one of the Lecturers, he stated that the allowance was signed last year November, 2019 and it hasn’t been paid to half of the Lecturers in the institution.

He continued by saying that selected lecturers where paid while others haven’t received theirs and they can’t keep mute anymore.

They chant songs of sorrow as they danced round the school environment.
