The Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora formerly known as Oyo State College of Agriculture, Igboora was established in August 2006. 

The Vision and mission of the institution is to become a leading Centre of excellence in Agriculture and Technological Advancement through the training of youth for innovation, food sufficiency and job creation.

OYSCATECH is a state-owned polytechnic located at Igbo Ora in Oyo State. The college offers full-time and part-time programmes leading to the award of National Diploma and Higher National Diploma certificates. 

OYSCATECH offers regular(Full-time) and part-time programmes which are available at both ND and HND level. The part-time Is a daily part-time program as lectures are held on weekdays and likewise the full-time programme as lectures starts from 8 to 6pm Monday to Friday. The difference between the full-time and part-time programme is school fees.

ND ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

• Candidates for the National Diploma Programmes must possess the SSCE/GCE conducted by WAEC, NECO or NABTEB with at least five (5) subjects at Credit Level obtained at not more than two (2) sittings.
• Candidates who did not choose the College are urgently required to apply for change of course/institution to the College through JAMB.

HND ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

The following are the entry requirements for the Higher National Diploma Programmes of the College:

1. 5 O’Level credit passes as required for National Diploma Programmes
2. A minimum of Lower Credit at National Diploma Level
3. 1 year post National Diploma cognate experience
4. NCE in Agricultural Science (Double Major) With at least a Merit Pass
5. NCE in Home Economics with a least a Merit Pass
6. Candidates with a PASS at National Diploma level will require a minimum of two years working experience.
