Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti (ADOPOLY) 2023/2024 National Diploma (ND) AND Evening and POST UTME Screening

Applications for Screening of Credentials are hereby requested from interested applicants who wrote the 2023/2024 UTME and chose The Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti or are willing to change to the Institution as 1st choice. 

(A) ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS

(i) All applicants who chose The Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti and obtained a Minimum Acceptable Mark (MAM) of 140  in the 2023/2024 UTME. 

In addition to the above, applicants must possess five (5) O’ level subject requirements at Credit level in not more than two (2) sittings in SSCE, NECO, GCE and NABTEB.

(ii) Any applicant applying with NABTEB (NTC) for Courses in the School of Engineering (SOE) and School of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology (SAAT), must in addition to the five (5) O’level subjects in (i) above possess a core subject from the Trade Related Area (TRA), and not Book Keeping, Commerce, Principles of Accounts, or Secretarial Studies etc. While applicants applying for Business related Courses can use NABTEB (NBC). For avoidance of doubt, NABTEB Business Certificate (NBC) is not accepted in the School of Engineering, the Department of Mechanical Engineering accept NABTEB, NBC certificate with a relevant core subjects. However, the Department of Mechanical Engineering in the School of Engineering accepts NABTEB (NBC) in relevant core subjects.

(iii)   Applicants with NABTEB (General Education) can also apply for courses in the School of Engineering (SOE), and School of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology (SAAT).

(iv) Applicants should carefully consider the O’Level subject requirements of the department they wish to apply for. Information on the O’Level subject requirements can be found on the polytechnic portal.

(v) Applicants who scored 140 and above in the last UTME but did not choose The Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti as 1st choice Institution and are interested in changing to the Institution can do so.

ADMISSION FORM GUIDELINES  

Screening Application Form

(i)  Applicants should visit the Polytechnic Website www.students.fedpolyado.edu.ng and click on applicants to generate and print screening application payment invoice. 

(ii) Upon printing of invoice, applicants can proceed to any bank of their choice alongside the invoice generated and make payment of ₦2, 000.00 on the Remita Platform.

(iii) Applicants can also make payment with their debit card (Master Card, Visa Card and Verve Card) following the instructions on the invoice generation page. (Note: before payment with debit card, print your Invoice)  

(iv) After payment, applicants should revisit the School Portal and fill their screening forms using the RRR number on the payment invoice (slip). The invoice and the RRR must be in the applicant’s name. 

(v)   Applicants are advised to carefully read through their forms before submission.

(vi)  Applicants should endeavor to print their acknowledgement slip and screening forms.

(vii)   Applicants should endeavour to upload their O’level subjects on JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS), in particular, the awaiting results candidates.      

NOTE:  On-line screening application for admission and submission of forms will commence on Monday, 31st July, 2023 and close on Friday, 15th September, 2023.

Applicants are advised to visit the Polytechnic website www.fedpolyado.edu.ng regularly for further detailed instructions on the on-line application as from Monday, 14th August, 2023.

ADMISSION TO NATIONAL DIPLOMA EVENING PROGRAMME FOR THE 2023/2024 ACADEMIC SESSION

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Applicants for admission to The Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti for National Diploma Part-Time/Evening Programmes in the 2022/2023 Academic Session leading to the award of National Diploma.

(A) GENERAL INFORMATION FOR APPLICANTS


(i) All applicants who chose The Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti but did not obtain a Minimum Acceptable Mark (MAM) of 140 in 2022/2023 UTME can apply. In addition to the above applicants must possess five [5] O’level relevant subject requirements at the Credit level including English Language and Mathematics in not more than two [2] sittings, in SSCE, NECO, GCE and NABTEB.

(ii) Any applicants applying with NABTEB (NTC) for courses in the School of Engineering (SOE) and School of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology (SAAT), must in addition to the five [5] O’level subjects in (i) above possess a core subject from the Trade Related Area (TRA), and not Book Keeping, Commerce, Principles of Accounts, or Secretariat Studies, etc. While applicants applying for Business related courses can use NABTEB (NBC). For the avoidance of doubt, NABTEB Business Certificate (NBC) is not accepted in the School of Engineering and School of Agriculture and Agricultural Technology. (iii) Applicants with NABTEB (General Education) can also apply for courses in the School of Engineering (SOE) and the School of Agriculture and Agricultural  Technology (SAAT).

(iv) Applicants should carefully consider the O’level subject requirements of the departments they wish to apply for. Information on the O’level subject requirements can be found on the 2022/2023 Admission Application Page.
(v) Applicants who scored below 140 in the last UTME and did not choose The Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti as a choice Institution can also apply.

(B) METHOD OF APPLICATION
The application is in two stages viz:

STAGE 1
Visit the JAMB office or any of the JAMB CBT Accredited Centres nearest to you for
registration with the under-listed details:

(i) Valid E-mail Address

(ii) Phone Number and

(iii) N4,200 as application and processing fees.

This will enable you to obtain your JAMB Registration Number and Admission letter.

STAGE 2

(i) Applicants should visit the Polytechnic Website www.students.fedpolyado.edu.ng and click on applicants to generate and print an application payment invoice.

(ii) After clicking on applicants, click on generate invoice, next click the drop-down menu under PROGRAMME and select ND PART-TIME; next, click on the drop-down menu under COURSE to select your desired course of choice; afterwards, enter required personal details; then, click generate an invoice.

(iii) Upon printing of the invoice, applicants can proceed to any bank of their choice alongside the invoice generated and make a payment of 11,500.00 for processing and registration on the Remita Platform.

(iv) Applicants can also make payment with their debit card (Master Card, Visa Card and Verve Card) following the instructions on the invoice generation page. (Note: before payment with a debit card, print your Invoice).

(v) After payment, applicants should revisit the School Portal and fill out their application forms using the RRR number on the payment invoice (slip). The invoice and the RRR must be in the applicant’s name.

(vi) Applicants are advised to carefully read through their forms before submission.

(vii) Applicants should endeavor to print their acknowledgement slips and application forms.
