7 Different Types of Simps in a Relationship

“Simp” is a common word used to describe people who refuse to see things clearly because they are blinded by emotions, feelings, and beliefs. In other words, a simp is an unwise man or woman. Simps are everywhere—churches, mosques, schools, banking halls, malls, streets, and even in marriages. In this article, I’m going to focus on the different types of simps in a relationship.

1. Rich Simps

These are the intellectual simps—or so they think. Do you know why? Because they will never admit to being a simp since they are loaded with money. Rich simps believe they can get any woman they want with their wealth. They are the type of men who would do anything to please a woman, as long as it involves money.

A rich simp might not assist his own family but will choose to fund another person’s daughter through school. He might have a wife and children at home yet spend lavishly on side chicks, neglecting his family responsibilities. Rich simps buys love with money and most of them get dumped when they go broke.

It is difficult to advise these types of simps. “Nobody dey advise a rich man,” right? If the first thing that comes to your mind when you make money is how to lavish it on women, you might be a rich simp. Love simps are the type of women who would rather remain in unhealthy relationships because of love. She knows this guy has zero husband-material qualities. She knows her boyfriend is a player and doesn’t care about her. She sees all the red flags clearly but still says, “I love him.”

Many of them know the right thing to do but never do it. The funniest part? Even if you advise them till eternity, they would rather remain in that relationship and learn the hard way. Some only regret after being labeled a baby mama or a few months into marriage. They will never admit to being simps until it’s too late. Choosing to be a “SIMP” because of love is not worth it. It might end in tears.

3. Love-Is-Blind Simps

These are the types of simps controlled by feelings and emotions. Love is a powerful emotion; everyone knows that. But does that mean you should settle for less? Are your feelings more important than your future?

Love-is-blind simps might marry someone despite knowing there’s genetic incompatibility. For example, they’ll say, “I’m AS, and she’s AS, but there’s nothing God cannot do.” Would God change your genotype and blood group? They’re similar to love simps, willing to do anything for love. Imagine doing a first and second abortion for a boyfriend, yet still opening your legs for him the third time. And then thanking him, saying, “Thanks for being there for me.” This isn’t love; it’s simping.

Toto worshippers are often carriers of STDs. They can sleep with any woman without shame and will empty their bank accounts just for sex. That’s not just simping; it’s criminal. What does a 16yr old girl need a relationship for from you a grown man? You should know better but as a toto worshiper, you wouldn’t agree.

7. Poor Simps

These are broke men who take on all their girlfriend’s responsibilities while her parents are still alive. Poor simps are often hardworking men striving to make something of their lives, but societal pressure derails them. They take on fatherly roles for girlfriends instead of focusing on personal growth.

Many of them end up spending their hard-earned money chasing women instead of investing in themselves. Some even resort to yahoo just to foot a woman’s bills. These types of simps often only realize their mistakes after a heartbreak.
