Katsina Polytechnic to Automatically Pass Graduating Students With One Carryover

The Academic board gave this directive during the meeting held on Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th June 2022 and also approved that graduating students on Withdraw with 35 marks should be allowed to graduate without return.
According to a memo obtained by POLYTV, the school management has mandated all academic staff to submit their examination scripts three (3) weeks after the Last paper as contained in the polytechnic academic calendar.
Below are the highlights of the academic board decision after the meeting;
1) That henceforth Students with only one course unit to graduate or withdraw with 35 marks should be allowed to graduate or return respectively.
2) The Board also directed all College directors to form a three man committee to look into the results with corrections from the Academic Board and submit four (4) clean copies to the Secretariat.
3) The Board resolved that henceforth External Moderators (Academic) should be appointed from within the Polytechnic Sector.
4) It is absolutely mandatory to all Academic Staff to submit their Semester Examination Results Three (3) weeks after the last paper as contained in the Academic Calendar. Failure to do so will attract appropriate punishment
