YABATECH Deputy Rector, Dr. Ukabam Bows Out of Office

On Tuesday 27th September, a valedictory session was organized at Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH), in honour of Dr Titilayo Ukabam for a successful 3 years of meritorious service to the College as Deputy Rector. Ukabam was appointed first as Deputy Rector(Administration) on the 28th of September, 2019. ln 2021, she was deployed to serve as Deputy Rector(Academics)
The Rector, Engr Obafemi Omokungbe commended Ukabam for her exemplary leadership role as Deputy Rector. He particularly praised her work ethic and the professionalism she brought when handling the task assigned to her.
‘But for the polytechnics extant rules, we would have asked you to continue on the job so we can all bow out together, he said.

Other principal officers also spoke in turn to extol Dr Ukabam for her contribution to the system.

Dr Ukabam is a chief lecturer in the Dept. of Estate Management. She has served as Head of Department, Dean, School of Environmental Studies and Director, Internal Quality Assurance(IQA,)Unit.
This is congratulating Dr Titi Ukabam on a successful tour of duty as Deputy Rector.
