Tragedy Strikes as Delta State Polytechnic Oghara SUG Members Involved in Auto Crash

A somber mood has engulfed the Delta State Polytechnic, Oghara, following a road accident involving members of the institution’s Students’ Union Government (SUG) earlier today.
According to eyewitnesses, the student leaders were traveling when their vehicle was reportedly involved in a serious crash along a major route in Delta State. The purpose of their journey remains unconfirmed at the time of this report, but sources suggest they were on official duties outside the campus.
Details surrounding the number of students injured or the extent of the damage are still emerging, but reports indicate that emergency responders arrived at the scene promptly to provide medical assistance and transport the affected students to a nearby hospital.
The senate president was fatally injured in the accident and fighting for his life in the hospital.
The institution’s management has yet to release an official statement, but students and staff have taken to social media to express concern and prayers for the recovery of those involved.
“This is heartbreaking. We ask God for protection over our leaders and hope they all recover quickly,” one student wrote on a WhatsApp group platform.
