Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Students Stage Anti-Cultism Rally, Advocate for Safer Campus

Students of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, united in a peaceful demonstration to denounce cultism and its adverse impact on campus life. The rally, organized under the leadership of Patron General Favour Okoli, aimed to educate students—particularly freshers—on the dangers of cult-related activities and the need for a harmonious academic environment.
During the event, Deputy Commandant of Cadet, Enioluwa Alabi, stressed the importance of maintaining peace and urged students to report any suspicious activities to authorities. Director General Protocol, Anota Oluwajuwon, also pointed out that while the school prioritizes security on campus, students residing off-campus must take extra precautions.
The rally concluded with a strong collective resolution from students, reinforcing their commitment to rejecting cultism and strengthen a secure educational community.
