Summit University, Offa Partners with One Innovation Hub on Ten-Year Community Development Plan

Going from strength to strength, Summit University, Offa has proven, once again, their dedication to providing industry-fitted graduates as a long-term drive.
Starting the new year with a bang, the team representing the Vice-Chancellor led by Dr Asimiyu Olalekan Murana (Ag. Director of Acadmic Planning), Ibrahim Salawu, and four PCB participants–Miss Ruqayah Oladepo, Ismaila Adepoju, Riskot Afolabi, and Abdulbasit Oladele –from MOMAS Lagos, visited the One Innovation Hub, Offa, for an event attended by esteemed dignitaries such as Arch. Senator Lola Ashiru, the Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Kwara South, Honourable Sola Ogunniyi, member, House of Assembly, Dr. Waheed Olagunju, former MD, the Bank of Industry and the current chairman, One Innovation Hub, and other prominent members of the community.
Partnering with One Innovation Hub and other institutions in empowering the youth, Summit University, Offa, through an enlightening presentation by Mr Ismaila Adepoju, one of the participants on Printed Circuit Board production at MOMAS, Lagos gave a sneak peek into the array of sought after skills the institution is proliferating for the development of the community.
Impressed by the activities and achievements by One Innovation Hub and its partners, the honourable Senator Ashiru pledged to assist in
their ten-year mission to empower and develop the youth in Offa and its environs. The University also received 2 copies of the book titled “Reclaiming the Jewel of Africa” written by Olusegun Aganga.
The university remains committed in producing industry ready-made graduates who will make meaningful impacts in the technological advancement of Offa, Kwara state and Nigeria.
