SMEDAN-Wema Bank Empowerment Program Opens for Nigerian Youth and MSMEs (Apply Now)

A new nationwide initiative aimed at empowering Nigeria’s entrepreneurial ecosystem is now open for applications. The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN), in partnership with Wema Bank, has launched a robust capacity-building program designed to reach and transform 800,000 micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) across the country.

This initiative is part of a broader effort to equip young business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs with practical skills and strategic knowledge that are essential for thriving in today’s digital-driven economy.

Business Strategy Development – Gain practical insights into building sustainable business models, setting achievable goals, and maintaining long-term growth.

Artificial Intelligence for Business – Understand how to integrate AI into daily operations, enhance customer experience, and increase efficiency.

All training modules will be delivered online, making them accessible to participants nationwide—regardless of location or background.

  • Real-life business insights
  • Strategic support for overcoming challenges
  • Networking opportunities with mentors and peers
  • Guidance on navigating Nigeria’s complex business environment

Access to Markets and Financial Support
