Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo (RUGIPOLY) Academic Calendar for the 2024/2025 Academic Session

The management of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, Ondo State, has announced the resumption of academic activities and released the academic calendar for the 2024/2025 session.

All newly admitted students are to resume for the first semester of the 2024/2025 academic session on Monday, 13th January 2025.

The allocation of hostels, registration, and orientation program for freshers will take place between 13th and 24th January 2025.

Returning students are to resume on Monday, 27th January 2025.

Lectures for both fresh and returning students will commence on Monday, 3rd February 2025.

The matriculation ceremony for fresh students is scheduled for Monday, 7th March 2025.

Examinations for the first semester of the 2024/2025 academic session will be held from Monday, 21st April to Friday, 9th May 2025.

SIWES (Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme) students are to resume on Monday, 12th May 2025, with their examinations scheduled from Monday, 7th July to Friday, 18th July 2025.

The second semester of the 2024/2025 academic session will commence on Monday, 21st July 2025, while the second semester examinations are scheduled to take place from Monday, 29th September to Friday, 17th October 2025.

8	12^th May 2025	Resumption of SIWES students
9	12^th May – 4^th July 2025	Lectures for SIWES students
10	7^th -18^th July 2025	Semester examination for SIWES students
11	18^th July 2025	End of first semester
