Some of the duties of a Taxation graduate/student may include:

• Maintain a solid internal control environment with sound document retention/management practices and prepare monthly reconciliation statements for balance sheet accounts.
• Direct and supervise the transmission of relevant documents and information to office for further processing,
• Ensure tax compliance for Personal Income Tax; Withholding Tax; Value Added Tax and Corporate Income Tax liaising with the Revenue there over.
• Perform continuous review and development of processes across the Nigerian office to improve both reporting and cost efficiencies.
• Ensure all payments are made in line with the company’s approved procedures.
• Maintain a fixed asset register.
•  Liaising with external auditors, banking community, local authorities, advisors, and other partners,

TAXATION COURSE REQUIREMENTS: 

• Five (5) SSC credit passes in English Language not Literature in English and Mathematics and any three (3) subjects from the following: 
• Economics/Commerce, Business Methods, Principles of Accounts,
• Literature in English, Geography, Office Practice, Biology/Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Physics, History/Government, Typewriting, Shorthand

UTME SUBJECT COMBINATION FOR ND TAXATION:

• Mathematics and two (2) of Geography, Commerce, Government, Principles of Accounts and Economics.
