Governor Sule Swears In 70 Aides, Inaugurates IMAPOLY Governing Council

Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, has officially sworn in seventy newly appointed special advisers, reinforcing his administration’s commitment to effective governance. The event also marked the inauguration of the Governing Council of Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic, Lafia.
Governor Sule, who had announced the appointments last week, urged the new aides and council members to uphold their responsibilities with dedication, integrity, and prudence in service delivery. He emphasized that their roles would contribute to strengthening his administration’s governance efforts.
“We must remain steadfast in upholding the principles of governance to ensure effective leadership,” the governor said, calling for strict adherence to government policies and strategic advice.

Among the newly sworn-in advisers are:

- Jibrin Ibrahim (Civil Service)
- Nuhu Bunu (Agriculture)
- Mohammed Shege (Mining)
- Ibrahim Shekarau (Education)
- Jibrin Giza (Finance)
- Moses Utondo (Rural Development)
- Justin Anijode-Kotso (SSG’s Office)
- Mohammed Alkali (Assembly Liaison)
- Elsie Monde (Women Affairs)
- Mohammed Baba-Shehu (Political Affairs)
The governing council of IMAP, chaired by Muhammad Sanusi Liman, includes members such as Danladi Abu, Dalhatu Ahmed Mohammed, Sani Mamman, Naudeen Mu’azu Maifata, Shema’u Ari, Mukhtar Wakeel, and Aishatu Abdullahi Adamun.
Governor Emphasizes Education and Development
During the polytechnic’s governing council inauguration, Chairman Prof. Muhammad Sanusi Liman pledged to prioritize the institution’s progress. He stressed the urgent need for infrastructure improvements and reaffirmed their dedication to supporting education.
Secretary to the State Government, Labaran Shuaibu Magaji, commended the new appointees for their loyalty and commitment to driving government policies. Special Adviser Mohammed Iyimoga, delivering a vote of thanks, reassured the governor of their determination to fulfill their mandates.
