The initiative, launched in collaboration with the National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS), aims to ease financial burdens and promote academic excellence. The rollout began today at Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, and will expand nationwide over the next decade.
Scholarship Details and Eligibility
The program targets undergraduate students in tertiary institutions across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones. Each year, 20 students from each institution will receive financial aid. To qualify, applicants must be enrolled in a recognized polytechnic and have an active Opay account.
Beyond tuition assistance, the scholarship will fund internships, research projects, and professional development opportunities, positioning beneficiaries for future career success.
