OGITECH BURSARY DEPARTMENT ENHANCES STAFF EFFICIENCY WITH ONE-DAY TRAINING

The Bursary Department of Ogun State Institute of Technology, Igbesa, organized a one-day training session for its staff on Friday 24th May, 2024. The training, themed “Innovative Ideas and Work Ethics,” aimed to improve job performance and efficiency within the department. The event took place at the Prince Dapo Abiodun Administrative Building Conference Hall.
In his opening remarks, the Rector, Dr. Abiodun Babatunde Oluseye commended the organizer of the training and praised the selection of the guest speaker, expressing confidence that participants would gain significant insights from the session. He urged the staff to fully engage with the training to improve their handling of the institution’s finances and declared the lecture officially opened.
Mr. Yunus Abdulsalam, the Acting Bursar of OGITECH, delivered a welcome address. He expressed gratitude to the Management of the Institute led by Dr. Abiodun Oluseye, for his commitment to the development of all aspects of the Institute. Mr. Abdulsalam highlighted the Rector’s support in organizing the training, which is intended to enhance the proactive delivery of services by the bursary staff.
The guest speaker, Mr. Akinola M. B. FCA then took the floor, presenting a prepared slides on “Innovative Ideas and Work Ethics.” He emphasized the importance of effectiveness and efficiency in job performance, sharing numerous insightful strategies and processes for achieving superior job delivery. He stressed that professional development opportunities are crucial for career advancement, as they bring new innovations and ideas to one’s work. Additionally, he highlighted the importance of embracing technology in professional roles.
Mr. Ismail Sulaimon, one of the training beneficiaries, delivered the vote of thanks. He expressed profound gratitude to God for the successful event and praised the entire Management of OGITECH, under a pragmatic leadership of Dr. Abiodun Oluseye, for organizing and approving this vital training session. Sulaimon acknowledged Dr. Oluseye as a visionary leader and thanked him for his commitment to enhancing the skills and job performance of the bursary staff.
The training session marks a significant step towards fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional excellence within OGITECH’s Bursary Department.
