MTN Foundation ICT and Business Skills Training Phase 6 for Young Nigerian Entrepreneurs (₦90 Million Equipment Grant Available)

Applications are now open for Phase 6 of the MTN Foundation ICT and Business Skills Training, a flagship youth empowerment initiative designed to equip young entrepreneurs with digital and business skills to grow their ventures and stay competitive in today’s tech-driven economy.
This programme, which has already empowered over 4,000 young Nigerians since 2018, is targeted at business owners between the ages of 18 and 35. Participants will undergo a 5-week intensive online training, including exclusive masterclasses led by seasoned industry professionals.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the training, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Age: Must be a Nigerian male or female between 18 and 35 years old.
- Business Status: Must own and manage a small business that has been operational for not more than 2 years.
- Location: The business must be located in one of these states: Ebonyi, Edo, Ekiti, Kebbi, Niger, or Yobe.
About the Programme
Since its inception in 2018, the MTN Foundation has partnered with leading global organizations such as Oracle, KPMG, IBM, Digital Bridge Institute, CISCO, Google, Meta, and Microsoft to deliver the ICT and Business Skills Training across 16 Nigerian states.
So far, the initiative has reached thousands of youths in states including Abia, Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Borno, Cross River, Imo, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kogi, Lagos, Nasarawa, Oyo, and Rivers.
In this new phase, the Foundation aims to train 3,000 additional young entrepreneurs in collaboration with Microsoft and Meta, with an upgraded curriculum focusing on cutting-edge digital tools.
What Participants Will Learn
- Microsoft Sessions: Training on Entrepreneurship in the Digital Age, ICT for Business Success, and the latest Generative AI tools.
- Meta Sessions: Training on Brand Building and Online Business Growth through the Meta Boost for Small Business program.
