Moroccan Government Scholarship 2025–2026 Now Open for Late Applications

The Kingdom of Morocco has officially opened applications for its Moroccan Scholarship Programme for the 2025–2026 academic session. Administered by the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation (AMCI), this fully funded opportunity is available to students from eligible partner countries who wish to study at Moroccan public universities, higher education institutes, or vocational training centres.
This prestigious scholarship supports up to 20 international students annually and is designed to promote academic exchange and cultural cooperation between Morocco and other nations.
Eligible Study Levels and Fields
Applicants can pursue undergraduate, master’s, or doctoral degrees in various disciplines, including:
- Humanities and Social Sciences
- Natural and Applied Sciences
- Engineering and Technology
- Economics and Management
- Islamic Studies
- Vocational and Technical Fields
Students may enroll in any of the following Moroccan institutions:
- Public Universities
- Higher Education Institutes
- Vocational Training Centers
Scholarship Benefits
Selected candidates will receive a fully funded package that includes:
- Monthly Stipend: 1,750 Moroccan Dirhams (~$175) to cover living expenses, disbursed bi-monthly.
- Travel Support: One economy-class ticket to Morocco at the start of the program and a return ticket upon completion.
- Health Insurance: Full coverage for medical care, emergencies, and repatriation through Finassure.
- Thesis Support: A lump-sum grant to assist with printing Master’s or PhD theses (subject to specific conditions).
- Housing Allowance: Additional 500 MAD (~$50) per month for students not placed in university accommodation.
Eligibility Requirements
Undergraduate Applicants
- Age: 19 to 23 years
- Academic Qualifications: Must have completed CAPE or an Associate Degree in 2024 with at least Grade A or B, or be on track to graduate in 2025
- Academic Record: Strong performance in the most recent two semesters
Master’s Applicants
- Must possess a Bachelor’s degree (First or Second Class) or an equivalent qualification relevant to the intended field of study
- Demonstrated academic excellence and relevant academic background
PhD Applicants
- Must hold a Master’s degree or an equivalent qualification
- Required to submit a research proposal and a copy of their Master’s thesis or dissertation

The deadline to apply for the Moroccan Scholarship Programme for the 2025–2026 academic year is Friday, July 4, 2025.
