Lists of the Courses Offered in Kano State College of Health Sciences and Technology (School of Hygiene) and Their School Fees
Kano State College of Health Science also known as School of Hygiene, Kano as one of the oldest Health Institutions in the Country was established in 1932 by the Colonial Masters under the governing body known as the Royal Society of Health (RSH) London. The School was first opened by Dr. N.S. Turnbull (An English man), who was at that time the Medical Officer of Health, Kano. The training commenced at the Government Health Office with candidates as (Native Authority) Sanitary Inspectors who attend a 9 months course in vernacular (Hausa). The then Medical Officer of Health was the Principal and one Tutor.
