List of The Courses Offered by The Federal polytechnic Ekowe (FPE) and Their School Fees

The Federal Polytechnic, Ekowe, Bayelsa State was established through legislation by the 6th National Assembly of the Federal Republic of Nigeria under the Federal Polytechnic Act of 1990 as amended. It was assented into law by late President Umaru Musa Yar’ Adua (GCFR) in July 2007. But full implementation was in 2009.

The Polytechnic is cited at the ancient Town of Ekowe (Ekeu) along the River Nun in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State in the Oil & Gas rich Niger Delta Region of Nigeria. The institution is the first Federal Government higher institution in the state.

Federal polytechnic Ekowe Operates on two campuses: The Main Campus is located at Ekowe and the Mini Campus in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State. The polytechnic offers National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND) Programmes and Postgraduate Diploma. 

HND course doesn’t require writing UTME again or obtaining the JAMB direct entry form. Applicants are only to take part in the school’s organized entrance test and interview or screening while the ND course requires writing of UTME and obtaining a minimum score of 100 and above.

The candidate for Higher National Diploma must possess at least a lower credit pass in National Diploma in a relevant ND programme and a minimum of twelve (12) months of supervised industrial experience

Federal Polytechnic Ekowe School Fees 

ND students pay #45,000 per session while HND pays #47,000 per session excluding departmental and faculty dues.
