Lagos State University of Science and Technology (LASUSTECH) 2023/2024 POST UTME Screening and Direct Entry Admission
This is to notify the general public, particularly candidates seeking admission into the Lagos State University of Science and Technology, Ikorodu in the 2023/2024 academic session of the commencement and guidelines for the post-UTME online admission screening exercise as follows:
1.0 ELIGIBILITY FOR SCREENING
(i) Only candidates who chose the Lagos State University of Science and Technology as their first choice Institution in the 2023/2024 UTME, obtained a minimum of 180 UTME score, and possess the required O’Level subjects at credit level at not more than two (2) sittings are eligible for admission into the University.
(ii) ALL Direct Entry candidates, who wish to be considered for admission into Lagos State University of Science and Technology for the 2023/2024 Academic Session, must have obtained a Direct Entry Form from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and must have chosen Lagos State University of Science and Technology as their First Choice Institution must apply for the screening.
(iii) Only candidates of Lagos State Origin, for 100 level and Direct Entry, who have proven their claims successfully before the State of Origin Verification Committee (SOVC) set up by the Lagos State University of Science and Technology, will be allowed to participate in the Online Admission Screening Exercise.
2.0 METHOD OF APPLICATION
Candidates are to make a payment of Two Thousand Naira (₦2000.00) only to Lagos State University of Science and Technology through this link: https://www.lasustech.edu.ng and follow the instructions as stated in the procedure for LASUSTECH application for admission.
3.0 PERIOD OF THE SCREENING EXERCISE
Candidates should please note that the Portal for the online screening will open at 12:00 am on Friday, 18th August, 2023 (to commence the exercise) and close at 11:59 pm on Sunday, 3rd September, 2023.
4.0 GENERAL INFORMATION
(i) Every candidate must satisfy the O’Level requirements of the programme of his/her choice before completing the online application form.
(ii) ALL candidates must upload their O’Level results on JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
Please NOTE that the screening exercise does not require the candidate’s physical presence on the University Campus.
