Kwara ESAN Celebrates Amb. Comr. Saheed Awodi’s Victory as National General Secretary, Hails His Leadership and Commitment to Students’ Welfare

The Education Students Association of Nigeria (ESAN), Kwara State Chapter, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Ambassador Comrade Saheed AbdulFatai Awodi, popularly known as Comrade Herwödy, following his successful election as the General Secretary of ESAN National Headquarters.
In an official statement released by the chapter, the association described Comrade Herwödy’s victory as a well-deserved recognition of his exceptional leadership, resilience, and unwavering dedication to the progress of Nigerian students.
“We are thrilled to celebrate one of our own, whose hard work and passion for student welfare have brought pride to the entire Kwara State ESAN family,” the statement read. “His election reflects his consistent service, commitment to student activism, and determination to promote unity and development among education students across the country.”
The association praised Awodi’s track record of advocacy, citing his contributions to student empowerment and educational advancement as major factors behind his national recognition.
“Comrade Herwödy has always stood for excellence, fairness, and progress. His emergence as General Secretary Elect marks the beginning of a new era of purpose-driven leadership in ESAN,” the statement added.
As the newly elected national officer returns to Kwara State, the chapter reaffirmed its full support for his leadership and pledged continued collaboration towards achieving shared goals for the benefit of students nationwide.
“We proudly welcome Comrade Herwödy back home and assure him of our solidarity. Together, we will continue to build a stronger and brighter future for all Nigerian students,” the communiqué concluded.
