Jubilation as Federal Polytechnic Offa Introduces summer Semester for Carryover Students

There was wild jubilation among students of the Federal Polytechnic Offa, Kwara state as the school management introduced the summer semester programme.
The summer semester program is meant for students who had carryover in the previous semester as they will now be able to resit for the failed courses without waiting for the next academic year.
The students union government confirmed this development in a press statement adding that the summer semester is an opportunity for students who had an extra year to clear their results.
“The management will now be organizing a program for students with carry over called SUMMER, for those that have carry over instead of waiting for extra year, this will just serve as a solution for them to graduate with their class mates….

“The summer program is not compulsory but voluntarily, students with extra year that register for summer won’t wait for another year but they will attend one week lecture and one week examination in which they will graduate with their colleagues without any problem.”
“This is a big opportunity for students with extra year as there won’t be an additional year for such students due to carry over and also the summer programs can accommodate more than just one carry over. “
