JAMB REGULARIZATION: Federal Polytechnic Idah Students Seek NANS Intervention

The Students union government of the federal Polytechnic Idah, kogi state, Led by the President, Comrade Shaibu Ocheje, has appealed to National body of National Association of Nigeria Students (NANS) for quick intervention on jamb regularisation issues the Polytechnic students and graduates are facing for over a year now.

POLYTV learnt that some of the Polytechnic students who were admitted in the year 2017 are yet to be mobilized for NYSC  due to jamb regularisation issues even after Completing registration procedures provided by JAMB and the school management.

The student union body Said Some students admitted in the year 2017 are still unable to access the jamb portal.

According to a statement obtained by POLYTV,

“We the executive of the above named student union Government humbly request for the intervention of the National Association of Nigeria student (NANS) in the ongoing JAMB Regularization issues.

“After severally meetings and findings with the management,(Federal polytechnic Idah) it is now clear that the management had forward the name on 17th December, 2021 of students who were admitted in the year 2017  to Jamb but it is quite unfortunate that JAMB has not responded to this after adhered to the instructions giving by JAMB in the National newspaper.

“All the students admitted in 2017 are still unable to access JAMB portal (CAPS) for Regularization. the situation which will deny us from been mobilized for NYSC which will render our five years in school unless as we will be graduating by 30th August 2022.

The student union added “we call on National Association of Nigeria students been the Apex student to rescue us from this inhuman treatment from JAMB.”
