IMAPOLY RECTOR COMMISONS IPPTO OFFICE
Courtesy Visit/Commissioning Of IPTTO Office
The amiable Rector Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic, Lafia Dr. Justina Anjiode Kotso said the Institution is committed towards promoting Academic research, technical training and innovations.
The Rector stated this during the commissioning of Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer Office held at the Institution on Tuesday, March 29,2022.
The facility was donated by (NOTAB) National Office For Technology Acquisition And Promotion.
Welcoming the Director General National Office For Technology Acquisition And Promotion Rector Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic, Lafia Dr. Justina Anjiode Kotso said the facility will not only encourage publications among Teaching Staff but also encourage innovations ” I will need to stress the fact that this initiative is not only targeted at diversify the economy but to create more entrepreneurs among Staff and Students.
Dr. Kotso noted that the state can only be Technically developed through effective Technology Transfer among Tertiary Institution and Industries and assured that the facility will be use judiciously.
Dr. Kotso used the medium to shower encomium to His Excellency Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule Governor of Nasarawa State and Visitor to the Polytechnic for his Fatherly role and support to the Polytechnic.
Dr. Kotso also profoundly appreciate the Governing Council led by the amiable and workaholic Governing Council Chairman Prof. Sani Mohammed Bako III (Emir of Karshi).
In his remarks IMAP IPTTO Coordinator Dr. Nurudeen Maifata explained that the office apart from serving as a means of protecting Staff research and publications it will guide against copywrite and link researchers with companies within and out the country.
Representative of the Commissioner of Education Abdulkarim Bala Ibn Na’Allah advised the Polytechnic Management to ensure Maintenance of facility for the benefit of future generation.
