Heritage Polytechnic Academic Calendar for the 2024/2025 Session

This is to inform all students of the Heritage Polytechnic, Eket, Akwa Ibom state that the school management has announced the resumption of academic activities for the 2024/2025 academic session.

According to the approved academic calendar, academic activities will commence on Monday 7th October 2024 as registration and lectures will commence on the same date.

Orientation program for fresh students has been fixed for 9th to 13th December 2024.

Students will proceed on Christmas and new year break from 16th December 2024 to January 5th 2025.

First semester 2024/2025 examination will commence on Monday 27th January 2025.

First semester 2024/2025 examination will commence for batch B students on April 7th 2025.

Academic activities for the Second semester 2024/2025 session begins with course registration on 7th April 2025.

Matriculation/convocation ceremony – Friday 17th May 2025.

Second semester 2024/2025 examination will begin on Monday 16th June 2025.

Below are the details of the approved academic calendar for the 2024/2025 academic session.

5	4^th – 8^th November 2024	Lectures continue
6	11^th – 15^th November 2024	Lectures continue
7	18^th – 22^nd November 2024	Lectures continue

8	25^th – 29^th November 2024	Lectures continue Lecturers submit questions and marking scheme
9	2^nd – 6^th December 2024	Lectures continue
10	9^th – 13^th December 2024	HOD publish 1^st semester exam timetable on Monday 9^th December Lectures continue Orientation for fresh students on December 14^th
11	6^th – 10^th January 2025	All staff resume 6^th January 2025
12	13^th – 17^th January 2025	Lectures continue
13	20^th – 24^th January 2025	Lectures and revision
14	27^th – 31^st January 2025	First semester examination
15	3^rd – 7^th February 2025	Lectures commence for batch b students on February 3^rd
