Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas, Bonny Sign a ‘Memorandum of Agreement with National Teachers’ Institute (NTI)

The National Teachers’ Institute (NTI) is a body responsible for Developing Capacity and Competencies for the Educational Sector. It has its Headquarters in Kaduna, Nigeria with well over six hundred (600) branches across the country.
On Wednesday, 18th December, 2024, the Management of (NTI) represented by Mr Sagir Zubairu Isah Racah, an Assistant Registrar II with (NTI) Kaduna and the Management of the Polytechnic led by the Ag. Rector Dr Victor Okolobah, signed a Memorandum of Agreement with (NTI) to run ‘Bachelor Degree’ Programmes in Education at the Polytechnic.
It is worthy to note that, the (NTI) has ‘only one center’ in Rivers State at the Elechi Amadi Polytechnic Rumuola, Port Harcourt and the one signed today at the Polytechnic is the ‘second’ one in Rivers State.
The Ag. Rector Dr Victor Okolobah, whose penchant for Pragmatic approaches to Strategic Development is exemplary, has yet again broken the barriers. This is a landmark and significant milestone capable of changing the narratives for the institution.
The learning center is to commence in January, 2025. The Polytechnic is now expressive on her core values of Creativity, Excellence and Community Service by initiating and deepening engagements with strategic partners to bring Education to every doorstep not only in Bonny Island but on a Global scale.
