Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa Releases Academic Calendar for Second Semester

Following the conclusion of the first semester examination, The Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa has released academic calendar for second semester 2021/2022 academic session. Below are the excerpts from the second semester academic calendar.

1. Resumption/commencement of lectures for 2nd semester, 2021/2022 session for ND II SIWES (B) & ND I/HND1 – 13th June-19th August, 2022; Duration: 10 weeks

2. Last day for submission of marked examination scripts for ND II (B) & ND I/HND 1 1st semester, 2021/22 session to HODs – 24th June, 2022; Duration: 2 weeks

3. Processing/Verification of 1st Semester, 2021/2022 session’s results for ND II (B) &ND I/HND I: 27th June – 8th July: Duration: 2 weeks

4. 473rd REGULAR ACADEMIC BOARD -30th  JUNE, 2022

5. EID’ EL KABIR PUBLIC HOLIDAY – JULY 10TH-11, 2022

6. Departments/school board meetings to consider 1″ Semester, 2021/22 session results for ND II SIWES (B) &ND I/HND 1 -July 12th – 15th 2022; Duration: 1 week

7. Special academic board to consider 1st Semester, 2021/2022 Session results for ND II SIWES (B) &NDI/HND I. JULY 18-21, 2022; Duration: 4 days (6 weeks after Examinations)

8. 474th REGULAR ACADEMIC BOARD: 28th JULY, 2022

9. 475th  REGULAR ACADEMIC BOARD: 26th AUGUST, 2022

10. Last day for submission of 2nd semester, 2021/2022 examination questions for ND II SIWES (B) &ND I/HNDI to HoDs for internal/external moderation: July 18, 2022

11. 2nd semester, 2021/2022 examination questions/model answers for NDII SIWES (B) goes out for external moderation: July 25th -31st  2022: Duration: 1 week

12. Second Semester, 2021/2022 session examination for ND II SIWES (B) &ND I/HND I: August 22nd – 30th, 2022; Duration: 8 days

13. COMMENCEMENT OF 2021/2022 COMPULSORY 4 MONTHS SIWES PROGRAM: 31st AUGUST 2022 – 30th DECEMBER, 2022

14. Last day for submission of marked second semester, 2021/2022 examination scripts for ND II SIWES (B) to HODS 14th October, 2022; Duration: 3 weeks after exams

15. Arrival of External Examiners/Project defense: October 17th – 2Ist 2022; Duration: 1 week

16. Processing/Verification of 2 (nd) Semester, 2021/2022 session’s results for ND II SIWES (B): 24 October to 4th November, 2022; Duration: 2 weeks

17. Departments/schools board meets to consider 2(nd) semester, 2021/2022 session results for NDII SIWES (B) November 7th – 11th 2022; Duration: 1 week

19. NDII/HNDII Second semester, 2021/2022 session Returns from semester break commencement of Lectures: 1th April – 29th July, 2022; Duration: 15 weeks

20. Last day for Submission of 2nd semester, 2021/2022 session examination questions for ND IIHND II to HoDs for both internal/External moderation exercise: 18th July, 2022;

21. 2nd semester, 2021/2022 examination questions/Model Answers for all graduating classes goes out for External Moderation: July 25th – 31st, 2022: Duration: 1 week

22. Second semester, 2021/2022 session examinations for ND II/HND II: August 2nd – 12th 2022 Duration: 2 weeks

23. 475th REGULAR ACADEMIC BOARD: 25th  AUGUST, 2022

24. Last day for submission of marked second semester, 2021/2022 session examination: 2nd September, 2022; Duration: 3 weeks

25. Arrival of External Examiners/Project Defense: October 17th – 21st  2022; Duration: 1 week

26. Processing/Verification of results for 2 semester, 2021/2022 session ND II/HND II: 24th October – 4th November, 2022; Duration: 2 weeks
