FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC EDE 2021/2022 ACADEMIC CALENDAR

The Academic planning unit of the Federal Polytechnic Ede has released Academic calendar for academic activities, 2021/2022 academic session. According to the calendar, registration will commence on 13th May for the newly Admitted ND and HND students.Below are the details of the academic calendar:
  1. 25th April 2022 – Commencement of SIWES programme
  2. 4th June 2022- Resumption for 2021/2022 Academic session
  3. 6th June to 25th June 2022 – Online and physical registration for returning students Including SIWES students.
  4. 12th June 2022 – Democracy day
  5. 14th June 2022 – 1st semester 2021/2022 Academic session lecture commences (Both online and Physical classes)
  6. 16th June 2022 – Inaugural Lecture
  7. 29th June 2022 – Regular Academic board meeting
  8. 8th July 2022 – End of SIWES
  9. 10th to 12th July 2022 – Id-el-Kabir
  10. 14th July 2022 – SIWES Students commences physical lecture in addition to online classes
  11. 13th to 16th July 2022 – First Continuous Assessment
  12. 18th to 21st July 2022 – Fresh Students orientation Ceremony
  13. 21st July 2022 – Inaugural Lecture
  14. 22nd July 2022 – 27th Matriculation Ceremony
  15. 27th July 2022 – Regular Academic board meeting
  16. 28th July to 13th August 2022 – Entrepreneurship and skill Acquisition for First semester 2021/2022
  17. 8-19 Aug 2022 18 August 2022 – Continuous Assessment.
  18. 18th August 2022 – Inaugural Lecture
  19. 15th to 21st August, 2022 – Convocation Week (20″, Convocation day)
  20. 22nd to 27th August 2022 -Revision Week
  21. 29th August to September 2022 – Exam for all student (Returning students to start exam on the 12th September 2022)
  22. 29th August to 6th October – marking of Examination scripts
  23. 31st August 2022 – Regular Academic Board meeting
  24. 3rd September 2022 – End of lecture for SIWES Students
  25. 5th to 10th September 2022 – Revision week for SIWES students
  26. 15th September 2022 – Inaugural lecture
  27. 28th September 2022 – Regular Academic board meeting
  28. 10th to 12th October, 2022 – Auditing of Scripts
  29. 17th to 21st October 2022 – processing of Results
  30. 20th October 2022 – Business committee meeting for consideration of first semester 2021/2022 results
  31. 26th October to 27th October – Regular Academic board meeting for consideration of first semester 2021/2022 Results
  32. SECOND SEMESTER 2021/2022 SESSION
  33. 15th October, 2022 – Resumption of Second Semester
  34. 17th October, 2022 – Commencement of Lectures for Second semester 2021/2022
  35. 26th October, 2022 – Regular Academic Board meeting
  36. 14th to 19th Nov, 2022 – First Continuous Assessment
  37. 17 November, 2022 -Inaugural Lecture
  38. 21st to 25th November 2022 – Sports Week/Department Week
  39. 30th November 2022 – Regular Academic board meeting
