EKSPOLY Rector, Dr. Ajeigbe Urges Isan Youths to Champion Polytechnic Development

The Rector of Ekiti State Polytechnic, Isan-Ekiti, Dr. Sunday Osinkolu Ajeigbe, has called on the youths of Isan-Ekiti to collaborate more with the Polytechnic to promote its growth and development.
Dr. Ajeigbe made this appeal on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, when the leadership of the National Association of Isan Youths, led by its National Coordinator, Comrade Bodunde Sunday, paid a courtesy visit to his office.
Emphasizing the critical role of the host community in the institution’s progress, the Rector urged the youths to see the Polytechnic as their own project and contribute to its success. He also highlighted some of the challenges facing the school, particularly the limited number of courses currently offered. However, he assured them that efforts were in top gear to introduce seventeen additional courses soon.
Earlier, the youth leaders pledged their continued support for the Polytechnic’s development within the community. They also appealed to the Management to consider qualified individuals from Isan-Ekiti for employment opportunities, particularly for senior positions, in future recruitment exercises.
Responding to their request, Dr. Ajeigbe encouraged them to ensure proper consultations and identify qualified candidates when recruitment opportunities arise.
