EDE POLY SUG TURNS BACK, SAY EXAMINATION WILL HOLD AS SCHEDULED
THE Students Union government, federal polytechnic Ede chapter has clarified that Second semester 2020/2021 examination will Commence on Monday April 4th as scheduled in the examination timetable.
The union had earlier declared that there won’t be examination until SU election holds which has caused confusion among students.
In a press statement released on Sunday, Comrade ADEBAM, the SUG president said that, they have met with the school management and the issue has been addressed.
The press statement in part reads;
“We are able to table our demands and we have been assured by the school management that necessities will be done and taking care off as the Election time table will be release a day to the end of this semester examination and we’ll have a free, fair and credible election.
The union leaders remains committed to protecting the interest of Nigerian student and submitting to the request of student will at all times be of our paramount priority.
Hence, i am directed to convey to the entire students of federal polytechnic ede that the 2nd semester examination earlier scheduled is commencing as planned tomorrow as we urge the students populace to stay focus and be fully prepared.”
The Student Union further advise students to shun any act of examination malpractices while wishing them best of luck in the forthcoming examinations.
