DR EMMANUEL ROLLS OUT SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME FOR POLYTECHNIC STUDENTS

DR Emannuel Ekot, the Founder Of Heritage Polytechnic, Akwa Ibom state, has rolled out scholarship Scheme for students of the Institution to promote human capital Development and Educational advancement in the Polytechnic community.
The Founder said the criteria for application is 3.00 CGPA and such student must be a student of the Polytechnic with no criminal records and must be an indigene of Ukwa (in Eket LGA), Ikot Udota, Etebi Ikot Udota, Ikot Abasi, Assang Ikot Uso Ekong, Eket Urban, Okon Development Area and Esit Eket local government area of Akwa Ibom state. The scholarship scheme covers Tuition Fees and other charges excluding accommodation and Feeding.
The Closing date for submission of all Dully forms is Monday 6th June 2022, interested students are advised to visit the Polytechnic bursary unit for obtain the scholarship form.
The following are the terms and conditions as it apply to the scholarship award:
1. The scheme is not open to Part time students.
2. Applicant must be a student of Heritage Polytechnic.
3. Applicant must have completed one semester at Heritage Polytechnic and result published.
4. Applicant must have a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of not less than 3.00.
5. To qualify for continuity, the beneficiary must maintain the CGPA as stated in 2 above in subsequent semesters.
6. Applicant must submit his/her result to the Board before commencement of every new semester / academic session.
7. Applicant must not currently enjoy any form of scholarship.
8. Applicant must not belong to any known cult / clandestine group or be a person of questionable character.
9. Applicant must be a BONA-FIDE indigene of any of the component villages in any of the designated or appointed COMMUNITY.
10. Applicant who violates any of the conditions stated above shall cease to enjoy the scheme forthwith. 11. The scholarship covers tuition fees and other charges but excludes feeding, accommodation, transportation and books
12. Where the number of qualified candidates outnumber the specified quota / number of beneficiaries allotted to a given community, the Board reserves the right to subject them to another form of screening it adjudges appropriate.
