Binyaminu Usman Polytechnic (BUPOLY) 2024/2025 Academic Calendar

Binyaminu Usman Polytechnic, Hadejia, has officially released its academic calendar for the 2024/2025 session. The Directorate of Academic Planning outlined the schedule for both semesters and the Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES).

According to the calendar, registration for new and returning students will begin on February 17, 2025, and run until February 28, 2025. Lectures for the first semester will commence on March 3, 2025, and continue for 15 weeks before examinations begin. A two-week break is scheduled after the first semester examinations, which will conclude on June 28, 2025.

The second semester will commence on July 14, 2025, with lectures lasting until October 24, 2025. Mid-semester and end-of-semester assessments will take place in August and September, respectively, followed by semester examinations from October 27 to November 8, 2025.

For students participating in the Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES), the training period is set to run from November 10, 2025, to February 27, 2026.
