Who Can Apply?
To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be a national of a developing country
- Hold a first degree (minimum of 180 ECTS credits or equivalent)
- Have completed at least 15 ECTS in economics or related modules
- Possess a minimum of two years of relevant professional experience after graduation
- Not have graduated more than six years ago
- Meet HTW Berlin’s English language requirements (IELTS/TOEFL not mandatory if prior education was in English)
Required Documents

- Motivation letter (max. 2 pages, dated and signed)
- Curriculum Vitae in Europass format (dated and signed)
- Official academic transcripts and degree certificates (with certified translations if not in English or German)
- Explanation of the grading system (usually part of the transcript or diploma supplement)
- Secondary School Leaving Certificate (with graduation date)
- Proof of English language proficiency (only if applicable)
- Copy of valid passport
