ASUP STRIKE: School Resumption Not Feasible- PLAPOLY SUG

The Students Union Government of Plateau state polytechnic, Barkin Ladi, has said that there is no specific date for resumption of academic activities yet as the polytechnic lecturers (ASUP) and the Join Action Committee (JAC) are still on strike.
Comrade Rotkang, the SUG president described the news trending in some speculated areas that the school have resume for academic activities is fallacy.
The student union called on the state government to reach a resolution with the Union so students can resume for academic activities.
“The attention of the Student Union Government President has been drawn to a widely fabricated rumour flying on different media platforms that school resumes on Monday.

“I wish to use this medium to state unequivocally clear that no date is set for academic resumption as speculated by some rumour peddlers, while we await a positive outcome from the union, we urge government to respect agreement signed to bring an end to this recurrent strike actions that have caused setback in the academic calendar and educational pursuit of Nigerian students.”
He added, “I feel the pain of all students and I appeal to your conscience that we should remain focused while issues are addressed and promise to notify you all of the relevant information regarding the strike actions and our subsequent resumption date.”
