ASUP STRIKE: Management to Meet Striking Lecturers- SUG

The Student Union government of the Federal polytechnic offa has said that the management of the Institution will meet with the Leadership of the Academic staff union of polytechnics (ASUP), Offa Poly Chapter over the strike action which has affected the part time students.
Report has it that students of the Mini campus have not been receiving lectures and other academic activities for the past few weeks due to the strike by polytechnic lecturers.
The SUG President, Comrade, Omotayo Samuel, Urged the PT students to be patient as they await the outcome of the school management meeting with the Union (ASUP).

“The students union executives are urging all the PT students to be patient until after the Asup releases their memo tomorrow, the outcome of their meeting will determine the next line of action to be taken…
“We are informing all PT students that the students union government executives are working tirelessly to solve the issue and we urge them all to be patient until the meeting schedule for today.”
