Young Africans looking to improve their qualifications now have a chance to study remotely under a fully funded scholarship. Arizona State University (ASU), in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation, is offering the 2025/2026 Graduate Certificate Scholarship Program for African youth.

This opportunity allows successful applicants to pursue a flexible, self-paced online graduate certificate, with the chance to progress to a fully funded online master’s degree at ASU.

Program Tracks Available

Applicants can apply for any of the following certificate programs:

• Global Management – Offered by ASU’s Thunderbird School of Global Management, this program trains professionals in innovation, entrepreneurship, and leadership in international environments.
• Supply Chain Management – Delivered by the W. P. Carey School of Business, this certificate covers logistics, procurement, operations, and sustainable supply chain practices.

Program Format and Duration

• Global Management Certificate: ~10 months
• Supply Chain Management Certificate: ~4 months
• Courses are online and self-paced, with occasional optional live sessions

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered, applicants must:

• Be citizens of an African country
• Be aged between 18 and 33 by the application deadline
• Hold a bachelor’s degree by July 2025
• Have not started or completed any graduate-level program before August 2025
• Show leadership potential and commitment to community service
• Demonstrate financial need and academic merit
