AKWAPOLY: Management Suspends Cultural Activities on Campus (See Why)

Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic management has directed that all local government chapter cultural activities be suspended with immediate effect.
According to the information gathered, this decision is taken to guard against the internal crises experienced during chapter cultural week among executives and other members of the chapter.
The school management stated that “henceforth, all local government chapters shall be subsumed into four major tribes and ethnic groups of Ibibio, Annang, Oro and Non – Indigenous for the purpose of these cultural activities during Students Union Government Week celebrations.”
“All local government chapter officers are to note and comply strictly with this directive to avoid regret.”
