ADOPOLY SUG Executives Meets With C. S.O, Urges security to Put an End to Stealing in the polytechnic

The Student Union Executives of the Federal polytechnic Ado-Ekiti led by the President, Comr. Okolie Joseph Kelvin (P.K.A K-light), last week paid a visit to the Polytechnic Chief Security Officer.

The  purpose of the visitation according to the Union was to create a relationship between the Students and the Security unit and also to ascertain the measures being put in place by the Security unit in curbing the incessant rate of stealing from Students and to ascertain the measures put in place in bringing the perpetrators to book.

The C.S.O officer welcomed the Student Union Executives  as he appreciated their efforts so far.

He explained some security tactics being put in place to curb Stealing in the polytechnic and further warned students to shun the habit of stealing as anyone caught and found guilty will be made to face the full wrath of the law.

The C.S.O urged the Students to embrace the habit of reading their student handbook frequently, in order to know their rights and conducts as Students.

The Student Union President appreciated the efforts of the Unit and still encouraged the Unit, to continue in putting efforts to bring stealing to it’s minimal rate.

According to reports, not less than 15 phones have been reportedly stolen since the commencement of the first semester examination.

According to the press statement from the SUG body “The Student Union Government, seizes this opportunity to urge the Nigerian Students to be calm and always be security conscious as nemesis will soon catch up on those perpetrating evil.”
