When liver enzymes rise above the normal range, it’s often a warning sign that your liver is under stress. Instead of waiting for things to get worse or relying solely on medications, there are science-backed natural steps you can take to help your liver recover and get those enzyme numbers back on track. Here’s a closer look at the most effective natural ways to improve liver enzyme levels and restore liver health—without drugs or risky detoxes.

1. Cut Out Alcohol Completely

Alcohol is one of the most common causes of elevated liver enzymes. Even moderate drinking can increase enzyme levels in people with fatty liver, hepatitis, or other liver conditions. Quitting alcohol, even temporarily, allows the liver to rest and regenerate.
